Description: Formerly the Mount Auburn Christian Church, Dallas' Hare Krishna temple was purchased by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON) in 1971. The temple also includes a gurukula, a devotee-run school for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, and Kalachandji's, a well-known vegetarian restaurant.The temple room is modeled after India's open-air temples.On the walls hang murals painted by famed artist B.G.
