India also moved a motion for no war treaty between India and Pakistan to improve the relations with neighboring countries.
2/18/1836Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa(1836-86), was born early morning in Kamarpukur village in Hooghly district, West Bengal. His real name was Gadadhar Chatterji. He was God-intoxicated Bengali Shakta saint, Guru of Swami Vivekananda. He exemplified the bhakti dimension of 'Shakta Universalism'.
9/10/1943Satyendra Chandra Bardhan, Vakkom Abdul Khader, Fouja Singh, Boniface Pereira and Anandan were hanged on charges of conspiracy to ""wage war against the King"" under the Ememy Agents Ordinance (which was given retrospective effect) at Madras Jail. They sang Vande Mataram and shouted ""Bharat Mata Ki Jai"" when they were being hanged.
