Ingredients
1/4 cup Oil 2-3 medium sized Onions, chopped 7-10 Garlic cloves, minced 2 fresh green chilies, chopped 1 tspn Turmeric powder 1 table spoon Cumin seeds 1 tspn Dhania (Coriander) Powder 1 tspn Garam Masala 3 pound Okra Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
Method: 1.Heat oil in large pot. Add cumin seeds, onion, garlic & chilies. Fry over medium heat till browned. Stir in turmeric & fry for 2 minutes. Mix in okra, dhania powder & salt. Add garam masala. 2. Cover, reduce heat & simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Serve hot with roti. Serves 4-6 people.
