There are way too many fears to cover them all in this article. Nevertheless, I can give some advice that will help you conquer most fears that are causing you to procrastinate.
You need to ask yourself two questions...and then answer them honestly.
First, ask yourself, "What am I afraid of?" Simply identifying the fear...giving it a name...often takes away the power it holds over you.
The second question to ask is: "What if my worst fear came true in the most horrible way possible?" Let''s say someone rejects you by declaring, "No, I wouldn''t buy your product if my life depended on it." You''d be hurt, sure, but would you survive? Of course you would.
What if you do make a mistake, or look stupid, or make the wrong decision? You''ve done it before, and you''ll do it again. It''s a miserable feeling, but it won''t kill you.
Whatever your fear, magnify that fear as much as possible. Think of the worst thing that could happen. You would survive it, wouldn''t you? Sometimes, the worst thing that could happen isn''t as bad as how miserable you feel being a procrastinator.
Once you identify your fear and face it, once you magnify that fear and decide you''ll survive it and perhaps even learn from it, you can start moving and do whatever it is you''ve been putting off..and start taking control of your life.
